Key Role Highlights:
- Position: Business Development Manager
- Reporting To: Director of Sales
- Primary Focus: Driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing existing client relationships using CRM software
- Location: Office-based with some field-based responsibilities, traveling across the UK
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business plans
- Utilize CRM software to manage relationships and track sales
- Identify new business opportunities through networking and research
- Collaborate with teams to align objectives and enhance services
- Analyze market trends and competitors
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven business development and sales experience (ideally in transport/FMCG/fresh & frozen foods, though not essential)
- Skills: CRM software proficiency, analytical thinking, market research, communication, client relationship building
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and multitasking abilities
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 (depending on experience) + commission (OTE 50,000 - 60,000
