H. Beck Machinery a division of ClevelandCliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a CNC Machinist in our Windsor Ontario machining facility. The CNC Machinist is responsible for providing machining ability meeting company and customer standards in a timely and costefficent manner and working in a team enviroment. The ideal candidate will have prior machining experience be selfmotivated and thrive in a fastpaced work environment. Primary Responsibilities:
- Shift work (days and afternoons)
- Experience in 2D/3D machining 3AXIS)
- Excellent knowledge of tooling Setting up and operating Computer numerical control (CNC) machines
- Setting up and adjusting production machineries/tools
- Able to stand for extended periods work within a fastpaced environment.
- Keeping the work environment safe
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to read drawings specifications & engineering information with minimum supervision.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings blueprints charts and tables to determine the specifications of the parts being made.
- Verifying dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Overhead crane & forklift experience
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Maintaining inspection records and complete inspection reports
- Must understand manual G code programming.
- Preferred knowledge in Heidenhain Fanuc Fidia controls
- Preferred knowledge in SMIRTNXTEBIS softwares
- Calculating measurements dimensions and tolerances with no discrepancies
- Verifying measurements and tolerances against specifications
- 5axis machining experience
- FCS clamping and tables for setup and fixturing.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Quick learner
