Senior Product Manager Digital Transformation (SAFe / Agile)
Location: Any major city in Australia
Security Clearance: Australian Citizen with active Baseline security clearance
Engagement Type: Longterm contract
Work Environment: Hybrid (remote and onsite as required)
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager to lead product alignment and delivery in a largescale federal government digital transformation program. This role acts as a key bridge between Product Owners business stakeholders and senior executivesensuring the right products are built the right way and deliver maximum value.
Youll drive crossfunctional collaboration across Agile Release Trains (ARTs) lead PI Planning and support agile maturity through active engagement in Communities of Practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Product Leadership: Lead endtoend product lifecycle management ensuring alignment with Change Program priorities digital strategy and business outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with delivery technology and business teams to deliver integrated product outcomes.
- SAFe Agile Delivery: Drive agile delivery within ARTs actively participating in PI Planning ART ceremonies and supporting delivery excellence.
- Coaching & Support: Mentor Product Owners on backlog management feature prioritisation agile delivery and continuous improvement practices.
- Communities of Practice: Contribute to agile leadership forums and capability uplift through knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Roadmap Development: Manage and evolve product roadmaps based on customer insights compliance needs and business value.
- Issue Resolution: Navigate constraints resolve conflicting priorities and align teams toward common delivery goals.
Skills and Experience Required
- 3 years of recent experience in a Product Manager or equivalent role
- Strong understanding of SAFe PI Planning and participation in ART events
- Demonstrated experience in delivering digital initiatives within federal government
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Experience leading or participating in Communities of Practice
- Knowledge of the Digital Service Standard
- Relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g. SAFe POPM SAFe Agilist Agile certifications)
- Must be an Australian Citizen with active Baseline security clearance
