Job Description

About the Role

A top Independent school in Islington requires an experienced Economics Teacher to join their social sciences department.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Economics Teacher lessons at KS4 and KS5.
  • Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
  • Develop students understanding of economic principles and global issues.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the economics curriculum and resources.
  • Organise and lead economicsrelated extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Economics.
  • Proven experience in teaching economics at secondary level including ALevel.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for economics.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
