About the Role
A top Independent school in Islington requires an experienced Economics Teacher to join their social sciences department.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Economics Teacher lessons at KS4 and KS5.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Develop students understanding of economic principles and global issues.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the economics curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead economicsrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Economics.
- Proven experience in teaching economics at secondary level including ALevel.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for economics.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
