We are seeking a Digitalization and PLSCADD Expert for our Digital Twins Service Line spread between Madrid and Switzerland. The candidate will be responsible for creating maintaining and managing a comprehensive set of Digital Twin and BIM models for Powerlines in Switzerland. These models will be connected to operational data and help operators to better plan their maintenance activities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in LiDAR data processing powerline modelling in PLSCADD and a deep understanding of engineering principles to ensure the accuracy and functionality of the models.
What you will do:
- You process and analyse LiDAR point cloud data to model powerlines with high precision.
- You generate PLSCADD models from LiDAR ensuring alignment with design and regulatory standards.
- You coordinate with other engineers and designers to optimize the use of PLSCADD and other relevant software in modelling workflows.
- You export and manage models in various formats including PLSCADD IFC and GIScompatible outputs.
- You integrate structural and electrical attributes into powerline models ensuring a holistic digital representation.
- You ensure all models comply with utility standards and grid operator requirements.
- You support the automation of LiDAR data processing workflows for increased efficiency.
- You conduct modelbased analysis for load calculations clearances and vegetation encroachments.
What you bring & who you are:
- You have an electrical civil or mechanical engineering background.
- You have at least 2 years of experience in the digitalization of existing powerlines.
- You have several years of experience in PLSCADD / TOWER / POLE and its application in powerline design.
- You have a fair understanding of LiDAR data processing including classification filtering and conversion for powerline applications.
- You have a good grasp of open BIM data standards such as IFC and GIS formats.
- You are familiar with BIM methodologies and can work within CDE environments.
- You have strong problemsolving skills and can work independently yet collaboratively.
- You have strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge in BIM modelling software including Civil 3D and Revit is welcomed.

Youll join Axpos innovative Digital Twins Service Line working in a hybrid setup across Spain and Switzerland. Together were building nextgeneration digital models to support safe and efficient powerline operations across the Swiss grid.
