Service Operations Specialist -ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED

We have an opening for a Service Operations Specialist to perform a wide range of activities associated with ESN Hub VDI teams daily operations. The position is within the Information Technology Solutions Division (ITSD) of the Computing Directorate matrixed to the SMSG in support of the LivIT ESN Hub Program.

This position requires fulltime onsite presence due to the nature of the work.

You will 

• Work closely with the team in a fastpaced environment with shifting priorities.
• Be responsible for the configuration peripherals and shipping of thin client systems to various DOE and U.S. government agencies.
• Tracking of thin client inventory in ServiceNow using established processes and procedures
• Evaluate and perform process improvement on the thin client configuration and deployment process.
• Receive and process thin client orders as they arrive on site using established methods.
• Transporting thin clients safely and securely to shipping and communicate shipping information out to customers accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• This position requires an active Department of Energy (DOE) Qlevel clearance or active Top Secret clearance issued by another U.S. government agency at the time of hire.
• Effective verbal written and interpersonal communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a team environment and communicate information and prepare and present information.
• Ability to interpret client/customer needs assess requirements and identify solutions to tasks and queries.
• Experience maintaining service area forms records databases and documents.
• Experience coordinating multiple work activities workflow and mutifaceted processes for service operations area.
• Advanced use of computers and a thorough working knowledge of associated software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Teams SharePoint or Confluence).
