support the setup of new HIL test benches based on the Vector platform & customer specific tools
maintain test environment optimizing it in terms of modularity
understand the System & Software architecture
commission the required HW&SW and plan the room concept
work in an agile environment (SCRUM)
debug HIL test benches :
Debugging skills are highly required for this position (Familiarity with debugger
platforms & Real time troubleshooting is desired).
Conduct a root cause analysis at bench level (from HW perspective : analysis of network topology & different interfaces SW perspective : analysis of signal flows / diagnostic messages)
Enrol development /debugging and testing at :
HW level : Diagnostic & Service routines .
SW Level : SW inspection of handcoded SW (C/C).
SW inspection of models (Matlab SIMULINK)
Structure the work & have a good organization skills to support releases (each 2 month with sprints of two weeks) for HiL testing :
Conduct flashing process for different variant of ECUs using different payloads & resolve all flashing issues for secure & unsecure payloads/
Do quick checks for preliminary tests to check viability of SW : (DID routines /Open circuit tests /Fault injection tests
Qualifications :
Master Or Engineering degree in electrical engineering computer science or similar
have experience in V&V process & practical level for HIL/SIL preferably in test bench
environment
have knowledge of HIL (Vector tools / Flashing process / Diagnostic services) management
and setup and experience with network protocols (CAN and Ethernet)
Manipulate & check signals easily (CAN/LIN/ : previous usage of Vector tools such as
Canlyzer/CaNoe or equivalent.
have a background about functional validation & diagnostic : usage of tools such as (IPG
CarMaker / Carla or equivalent) understanding of UDS protocol.
