Virtual Assistant Administrative & Social Media Specialist
Part time 20hours per week to start

VA Rate : 67AUD per Hour
Position Overview: We seek an experienced and highly organized Virtual Assistant to handle administrative tasks and social media management. The ideal candidate will be detailoriented techsavvy and creative capable of managing both business operations and digital marketing efforts. This role requires strong communication skills initiative and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Manage and respond to client emails inquiries and followups.
Schedule appointments manage calendars and coordinate meetings.
Prepare business documents reports and templates.
Maintain organized digital records and files.
Conduct online research and compile data as needed.
Provide general administrative support to enhance business operations.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
Create schedule and manage content for Facebook Instagram and TikTok.
Engage with followers respond to messages and comments professionally.
Design eyecatching graphics and short videos using Canva or similar tools.
Track social media performance and provide engagement reports.
Stay updated on social media trends to boost brand awareness.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills Required:
12years proven experience as a Virtual Assistant Administrative Assistant or Social Media Manager.
Strong administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Google Workspace and cloudbased tools.
Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g. Buffer Hootsuite Meta Business Suite).
Basic graphic design and content creation skills using Canva Photoshop or similar software.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Selfmotivated proactive and able to work independently.
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred but Not Required:
Knowledge of business consulting or experience working with small businesses/startups.
Understanding of Australian business operations (a plus).
Requirements Key Selection Criteria At least 1-2yrs experience in a VA - administrative or operations role, ideally within healthcare or allied health. Knowledge of key funding streams including NDIS, TAC, DVA, Medicare, and Aged Care (e.g. Home Care Packages, CHSP). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Ability to triage referrals, manage waitlists, and allocate clients based on clinical needs, service priorities, and clinician caseload capacity. Sound understanding of allied health services, especially occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physiotherapy, including common assessment and intervention types. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and practice management systems (Splose). Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast- paced environment.
