Job Description
8 years managing Oracle database technologies such as Oracle 12c/19c GoldenGate and Exadata in a critical highly available enterprise operation.
Experience working with Azure or other cloud providers MySQL Microsoft SQL Server(Postgres MongoDB and/or Couchbase is a plus.
Travel Requirements (include all applicable regions and corresponding percentages) potential travel to North America South America and/or Europe 5
Business Understanding
Understanding the impact that critical systems have on the overall business of a company. Specific knowledge of hospitality and travel business a plus.
Computing
Certification in one or more database platforms is preferred.
Able to troubleshoot complex database engine performance or technical issues.
Collaborate with and understand the infrastructure team dependencies on the database environment.
Ability to plan and execute tasks related to maintenance upgrades failovers and other database system sustaining activities as required.
