The Job Mission
As Technical & Coordination Support Manager (NSSS) youll be at the heart of delivering critical Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) installations at Hinkley Point C. Your future team will be responsible for site prefabrication valve implementation hydropressure tests documentation compliance and installation readiness.
Oversee NSSS site activities to ensure seamless prefabrication and installation.
Lead the technical supervision of NSSS valves welding qualifications and nondestructive testing.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and maintain strict quality control standards.
Coordinate hydropressure testing and documentation handover for commissioning.
Provide technical expertise to support installation sequences and resolve engineering challenges.
Manage contractor deviations and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders.
Monitor and validate project progress ensuring smooth of NSSS operations.
Support the final transfer of systems to commissioning teams.
Qualifications :
Essential Skills
Minimum 15 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of nuclear piping installation and quality control.
Expertise in nuclear safety culture documentation management and compliance.
Ability to lead technical teams and oversee complex engineering tasks.
Excellent problemsolving skills with a meticulous approach to engineering.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously while maintaining awareness of project constraints.
Experience managing budgets and contract deviations.
Desired Skills
Degree in Welding/Mechanical Engineering.
Chartered Engineer status with a relevant engineering institute.
Detailed understanding of PWR design and NSSS system construction.
Knowledge of RCCM and CDM Regulations.
French language skills (advantageous).
