Description
This position entails conducting field investigations and assisting the project team in evaluation and reporting field investigation results under the direction of a senior professional.
Duties include:
- Supporting preparation of technical documents including quality assurance project plans monitoring/sampling plans health and safety plans field records and regulatory reports
- Performing assignments requiring application of standardized techniques procedures and criteria
- Performing field observations and sampling of environmental media (soil groundwater soil vapor sediment etc.
- Compiling and evaluating technical data and coordinating with laboratories
- Managing environmental data and databases
- Communicating with subcontractors and other staff
Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree or higher in Geology Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field; Masters degree a plus 0 to 2 years of experience
- Experience with data management review and analysis
- Excellent organizational verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks work independently and as part of a team
- 40hour OSHA HAZWWOPER certification a plus
- Valid drivers license and clear driving record
- Ability to travel
