Job Description

Our client a leading manufacturer in Northern Ireland is seeking a Robotics / Automation Engineer to design develop and implement automation solutions for production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand product requirements and manufacturability.

  • Design and develop automation solutions including fixtures tooling and robotic programming.

  • Program robots and PLCs using automation software (e.g. NX CAM Robot Studio).

  • Test commission and troubleshoot automated systems.

  • Provide production support and identify process improvement opportunities.

  • Develop work instructions for production operatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechatronics Electronic Engineering or a related field.

  • Experience in CAD automation techniques and design for manufacturing.

  • Strong problemsolving analytical and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of ABB Rapid programming PLCs and control sensors is an advantage.

  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
