Job Description
Our client a leading manufacturer in Northern Ireland is seeking a Robotics / Automation Engineer to design develop and implement automation solutions for production activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with customers to understand product requirements and manufacturability.
Design and develop automation solutions including fixtures tooling and robotic programming.
Program robots and PLCs using automation software (e.g. NX CAM Robot Studio).
Test commission and troubleshoot automated systems.
Provide production support and identify process improvement opportunities.
Develop work instructions for production operatives.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Mechatronics Electronic Engineering or a related field.
Experience in CAD automation techniques and design for manufacturing.
Strong problemsolving analytical and communication skills.
Knowledge of ABB Rapid programming PLCs and control sensors is an advantage.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
