Job Description

Pay: $2530/hour depending on experience

Smith Therapy Partners has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics serving Las Vegas Henderson and surrounding communities for over 20 years.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the occupational therapist.
  • Treatment Planning: Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques including manual therapy exercise prescriptions modalities and patient education.
  • Documentation: While using Raintree Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions reporting changes to the occupational therapist.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises pain management techniques and care plans
  • Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree as Occupational Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
  • Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
