Job Description

3 months contract with local authority

We are seeking a skilled Project Accountant to join our team in the Interim Management Daily industry. The Project Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of various projects ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. This role will involve collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decisionmaking processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting excellent analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project budgets forecasts and financial reporting
  • Analyze project financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with project managers to track project costs and identify costsaving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for project stakeholders
  • Participate in project planning and provide financial expertise to support decisionmaking


Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred
  • Proven experience as a Project Accountant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in financial management software and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment

Requirements: Proven experience in social care quality assurance and improvement. In-depth knowledge of social care regulations, policies, and procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Relevant certification or training in quality assurance and improvement is a plus.
