Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Lead Backend Software Engineer to join our highperforming team. In this role you will help drive the design development and optimisation of highquality scalable backend systems. With 6 years of commercial experience in .NET/C# you will play a key role in building robust backend services and cloudbased APIs that meet the highest standards for performance security and maintainability. You will work within a team that values exceptional code quality and aims to deliver reliable performant solutions through rigorous testing and continuous integration.
While full DevOps skills are not mandatory experience with Azure Cloud is preferred and a solid understanding of cloudbased API development is essential.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable highperformance backend services using .NET/C# prioritising clean maintainable and highquality code.
- Build and optimise RESTful APIs and microservices for cloudbased applications ensuring they meet high standards of reliability and security.
- Work with Azure Cloud services to deploy manage and scale applications efficiently maintaining the highest standards of performance and uptime.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers product managers and stakeholders to align on delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
- Ensure that all backend systems are robust secure and highly available through comprehensive testing and monitoring.
- Champion best practices in automated testing CI/CD pipelines and code quality to ensure continuous delivery of highquality software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the backend stack always ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Lead code reviews mentor junior developers and foster a knowledgesharing culture focused on improving both individual and team performance.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and trends bringing innovative solutions to the team while maintaining an eye for code quality and longterm maintainability.
Qualifications :
About You
- 6 years of experience in .NET/C# backend development with a strong commitment to writing clean efficient and wellstructured code.
- Expertise in designing and building cloudbased APIs and microservices architectures with an emphasis on scalability and performance.
- Experience with Azure Cloud services (preferred but not mandatory) to build and deploy resilient cloudbased applications.
- A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines automated testing and best practices in DevOps for efficient development and deployment processes.
- A passion for code quality and a strong advocate for best practicesyou will actively participate in setting and enforcing team coding standards.
- Experience in Agile environments contributing to iterative development cycles participating in sprint planning standups and reviews.
- A proactive problemsolver able to work independently while collaborating effectively with crossfunctional teams to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
