Job Description
Employment Dates:
Tuesday June 10 2025 Friday July 18 2025.
(No School June 19th July 3rd and July 4th)
Hours:
5 hours/day 7:30am12:30pm); 2 days/week (Tues & Thurs).
Staff hours may be adjusted slightly after the program starts based on student enrollment.
Job Summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence courage and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Design and deliver datadriven school counseling services aligned with the district mission and ASCA standards to support scholar success; implement the building College and Career academics socialemotional and counseling plan according to district program objectives and priorities; teach and coordinate the delivery of the curriculum; coordinate registration and orientation for scholars when needed; advocate for the individual scholar; participate in planning and teaching of career education; counsel scholars individually and in small groups about personal concerns; maintain contact and communication with guardians/caregivers of scholars; refer scholars and guardians/caregivers to appropriate specialists special programs and/or community agencies; consult with teachers staff and guardians/caregivers regarding needs of individual scholars; participate in coordinate and/or conduct activities that contribute to the effective operation of the school; make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies; implement the goals and objectives of the district and the school and/or program for which employed; provide inperson synchronous and asynchronous learning and services when applicable. Willing to participate in district/building leadership activities. Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet the needs of guardians/caregivers the district building and department at the discretion of the supervisor.

Counselor
Minimum qualifications include:

Salary: Prorata for district licensed teachers; $35 per hour for nondistrict licensed teachers.

Counselor

- Bachelors Degree required.
- MN teaching license in School Counseling.
- If not currently licensed must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 2 license.*
