Job Description
Our esteemed client an established MNC is searching for an Estimating Engineer:
Job Responsibilities
- Perform cost estimation and budgeting for electrical switchboards and related products.
- Assist in preparing quotations technical documentation brochures and drawings for client submissions.
- Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone and email.
- Support Sales Engineers in following up on orders and client requests.
- Develop and enhance computerbased costing estimation and quotation processes.
- Compare estimated costs against actual project costs and manage budget planning.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability in cost estimation.
- Work with the procurement team to source components and identify costeffective alternatives.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for projectrelated tasks.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
- Adhere to Quality Management System procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Preferably 1 3 years of experience in project cost estimation within the electrical engineering sector.
- Experience in switchboard/panel cost estimation (marine or industrial) is an advantage.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 4000 AWS VB 2 Months)
- Working Location: Tuas Crescent
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.15am to 5.45pm
