Job Description
Join us at DNL and help shape the backend of a truly developerfocused platform. Were building Germanys leading AIpowered tools that analyse financial and nonfinancial reports. Using stateoftheart machine learning technologies we extract key figures from annual financial statements fully automatically and transparently.
Tasks
Shortterm: Skill Building & Impactful Contributions
- Write clean scalable backend code and design components that enhance performance and responsiveness.
- Perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure high system reliability.
- Integrate machine learning models into product features to push the boundaries of whats possible.
Midterm: Specialization & Ownership
- Develop expertise in a focus area that supports both your professional growth and DNLs mission.
- Initiate and lead a meaningful project or feature that has a measurable impact.
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs and realtime communication systems using WebSockets.
- Continuously refine the codebase introduce security improvements and help prioritize new features.
Longterm: Leadership & Strategy
- Influence architectural decisions and guide technology choices that shape our products.
- Align tech efforts with business strategy by developing a strong understanding of product needs.
- Take an active mentoring role lead code reviews set best practices and help scale our engineering processes.
Requirements
Education & Experience: A degree in Computer Science Engineering or a similar field and at least 5 years of handson experience as a Python backend developer.
Frameworks: Solid knowledge in building microservices using Flask FastAPI or similar tools. Youre confident with writing tests using pytest and comfortable building robust test suites.
Technical Skills: Proficient with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment preferably on Azure with Kubernetes. Bonus points for experience in machine learning or theoretical foundations. Youve worked extensively with scalable microservice and eventdriven architectures.
