Poly is seeking aCamera System Software Engineerto take part in cutting edge Video endpoint development. In this role you will be responsible for designing and developing software working with various functions and development teams in and outside the company and taking part in architecture discussions. Our ideal candidate is a team player with cando attitude who is enthusiastic problem solver.
Primaryjobresponsibilities include:
- Design development debugging and testing of platform software for complex Android systems that combines Video/Audio compression codecs
- Requires knowledge in LinuxKernel drivers Android HALand binder HIDL AIDL or robust communications protocols.
- Ability to use common software editor/compiler source control tools and hardware debugging tools
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 2 years C/C development experience
- 2 years working with low level Android code
- Experience with Linux driver development and working with Linux development environment
- Knowledge of the Android framework/SDK on recent releases (preferably Android M or higher).
- Good communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Handson experience doing bringup of Linux kernel on ARMbased embedded system
- . Handon experience with imageprocessing
- Handson experience with USB Gadgets or HDMI drivers
- Work with Video/Audio interfaces USB or WiFi devices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

The base pay range for this role is $104800 to $158250 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location jobrelated knowledge skills and experience.
