Your Role in the Bigger Picture
Be part of our client s team as a Senior Software Engineer where youll work on secure scalable systems for a global audience. You ll help build backend systems that support digital communication tools used by the world s top financial institutions.
The Essentials at a Glance
Shift: 10 AM 6 PM MK Time
Work Setup: Work from Home
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new systems and update existing ones
- Focus on serverside and backend development
- Ensure clean scalable and wellstructured system design
Example Tasks / Workflows:
Feature Delivery
- Collaborate with Scrum teams to understand product requirements
- Coordinate with developers and architects on system design
- Write and test code with a focus on quality and security
- Work closely with QA teams on browserbased automation
Success Metrics
- Follow engineering best practices
- Write secure bugfree code
- Collaborate effectively across teams
- Mentor junior developers
- Respond promptly to team and project needs
- Maintain a strong focus on thoughtful system design
Required Proficiencies
- Use modern cloud and database technologies to build accurate and responsive APIs
- Partner with product teams to refine and implement business logic and validations
- Contribute to crossfunctional squads delivering clientfacing and admin features
- Build reusable and testable code to improve engineering efficiency
- Guide junior developers and support their growth through mentorship
Requirements
What We re Looking For
- Minimum of 7 years of experience designing developing and implementing enterpriselevel ntier software solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft C#
- Strong knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core
- Solid understanding of OOP server technologies and SOA; experience with microservices is a plus
- Relevant experience in database design and SQL (Postgres preferred)
- Familiarity with ORM tools
- Proven ability to deliver correct stable and securitycompliant software
- Basic understanding of common AWS services (e.g. S3 CloudFront) and their business applications
- Background in financial services is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of XML JSON and related technologies
- Expertise in unit integration and performance testing for APIs
- Selfdirected innovative mindset with a bias toward action
- Excellent communication writing and analytical problemsolving skills
