Job Description

At Plaid our sales team combines deep product and industry expertise with a commitment to expanding Plaids reach to an evergrowing range of businesses.
As a New Business Associate Intern youll play a vital role in helping us realize this vision. During your internship youll engage with top prospective customers and learn to communicate Plaids value effectively to organizations at all stages and sizes. Youll also gain firsthand experience by shadowing the full sales cycle and exploring how various teams at Plaid work together to create a seamless customer experience.
This internship will take place in either our New York City or San Francisco office. Please be aware that any potential fulltime opportunities following the internship may be located in San Francisco New York City or Raleigh based on Plaids discretion.
Responsibilities
Learn about the sales funnel from inbound lead and outbound campaigns through to deal closure and contract negotiation
Identifying key decision makers within prospective accounts to map out organizational structure and Plaid integration opportunities
Write email communication for corresponding marketing campaigns to generate new sales prospects
Participate in simulations of customer qualifying calls. Simulations will prepare you to lead calls with executivelevel prospects
Qualifications
Demonstrated interest working with customers and explaining technical processes.
Interest in client facing career the financial services industry and a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
Excitement to work in a highgrowth environment and to help build processes and tools as needed
Desire to get (more) technical and the ability to learn the ins and outs of Plaids APIs
Graduating in December 2025 or Spring 2026
