Lead 2nd Shift MF 1:30pm 10:00pm) The Team Leader is responsible for the timely efficient and accurate processing of products in the Digital Eye Lab. A Team Leader is crosstrained to conduct a wide variety of tasks and may oversee the daytoday activities within their team for a specific area. As well as be expected to perform work in the additional function(s) as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Team Leader will oversee and direct activities within one of the following functions in Digital Eye Lab:
- Data Entry
- Inventory Control
- Material Expeditor/Flow Coordinator
- Picking
- Finishing
- Production Line
- Quality Control
- AR
- Shipping (Invoicing & Consolidation)
- Surfacing
- Coating
- Manages daytoday coordination of a specific lab function or area.
- May delegate tasks and assign duties to appropriate team members.
- Review the data from performance reports determine the accuracy of the reports and determine the efficiency and productivity of the employees.
- Provide recommendations for immediate process or performance corrections based on reports. Partner with management to implement the necessary adjustments.
- Plan and schedule regular rotation of all team members through the various key process responsibilities.
- Analyze and share daily production stats with team members.
- Review and recommend department processes to ensure maximum level of productivity and cost efficiencies.
- Identify potential trends in performance gaps and recommend modifications to the standardized work documents by using process improvement principles.
- Report all known product process and or reporting defects and inefficiencies to supervisory personnel.
- Provide information regarding work activities department activities and programs and company updates. Promote industry information within the team and organization.
- Ensure that Employees follow documented standardized work/procedures at all times.
- Provide training coaching and mentoring in order to improve and develop the performance of the team members.
- Respond to Employees needs concerns and questions. This includes but is not limited to offering input on discipline performance reviews payroll attendance etc.
- Ensure all employees are trained and comply with related policies and procedures for both the department and the company.
- Utilize proper handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages and reduce injuries.
- Follow and uphold all OSHA and company guidelines policies and safety regulations.

For US Candidates The anticipated base pay range for this position is $21.50 to $22.50 Employee pay is determined by multiple factors including geography experience qualifications skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
