You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Red Hat Experience Engineering (XE) team is looking for an Associate Technical Support Engineer intern to join us in Raleigh to support XEs mission to amplify the value of Red Hat solutions by delivering an exceptional experience throughout the user journey. In this role you will partner with advise and support enterprise customers by demonstrating the value of Red Hats products and solutions to meet their business needs. As an Associate Technical Support Engineer you will learn about our products and work with Red Hatters to support our customers across the globe.
Learn how our products work from a customer perspective
Learn to administer our products in enterprise environments
Provide technical support to our enterprise customers 24 hours a day every day of the week which will require you to work in different shifts periodically
Troubleshoot our products to diagnose customer issues
Collaborate with other associates to develop solutions for customers
Document customer cases clearly and concisely
Keep customers updated on case status and participate in case review calls
Contribute to Red Hats knowledgebase to share solutions and recommended practices
Prior customer service or technical support experience
Prior Linux administration experience
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience supporting Linux or UNIX in enterprise environments
Prior experience working with the Linux kernel and networking
Scripting or programming experience
Interest in obtaining a Red Hat Certified System Administration (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification
Experience with the KnowledgeCentered Service (KCS) methodology
