The Continuous Improvement Engineer (DBS) is responsible for optimizes organizational performance by enhancing the alignment and efficiency of business processes and by ensuring continuous sustained improvement across the enterprise through the implementation of Danaher Business System tools and methodologies.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager Manufacturing Engineer and is part of the Continuous Improvement team located in Duncan SC as an onsite role.

What youll do:

• Provide coaching during Daily management and help team use the process to identify root causes and countermeasures to close gaps.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and assist with the application of DBS tools. Ensures successful kaizen events by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process: 1 planning of kaizens 2 kaizen and 3 sustainment of kaizens.
• Become an expert in DBS fundamental tools and be a training and development resource.
• Use a very Hands on Gemba based approach to applying and teaching DBS to associates at all level.
• Support PSPs (Problem Solving Process) as needed. Support projects through analyzing data to provide business insights

Who you are:

• Bachelors degree in related area.
• Prefer min 2 years experience gained in an Industrial/Manufacturing Production Management Lean Engineering background or environment.
• Prefer minimum 24 years experience using process improvement tools.
• Strong People Leader and team builder with a track record of creating followership and influencing peers.
• Data driven processoriented thinker; exercises sound judgment in analyzing problems from multiple perspectives. Understanding of operations with a focus on lean/continuous improvement.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience of participating in and leading Kaizen or improvements initiatives.
