Position Summary:
Milliman MedInsight is hiring an Administrative Assistant to work under the direct supervision of the Chief of Staff. This is a Seattlebased hybrid role. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the MedInsight leadership team ensuring efficient management of calendars travel arrangements and monthly expenses. This role will support staff meetings and events both on and offsite. The Administrative Assistant will also be responsible for welcoming guests and vendors onsite maintaining office inventory and stocking kitchen and supply closet. As a member of the Business team this position will contribute to special projects as capacity permits.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the MedInsight leadership team including calendar support editing reports making travel arrangements and processing monthly expenses.
- Assist with planning and support quarterly all staff meetings including the annual inperson MedInsight United event.
- Maintain files and archives of relevant records and act as lead SharePoint site administrator; assist with knowledge management.
- Monitor and respond to general staff requests via a ticketing system. Complete other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Maintain an organized clean and wellstocked office for the Seattle staff.
- Provide meeting support for 10 person meetings including calendaring onsite conference room tech support and distributing meeting materials.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Associates degree preferred
- 1 years of experience providing administrative support
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Experience copyediting and designing reports.
- Experience supporting large virtual team meetings in MS Teams and Zoom.
- Event planning experience for large staff meetings both on and offsite a plus.
- Ability to stand walk lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Actively includes and shows respect for different ideas perspectives and backgrounds
Compensation and Location:
- The salary range is $50000$81000 depending on relevant factors including but not limited to education work experience certifications location etc. If overall experience is under 1 year the range would be $50000$74000; and for experience of 1 year or over the range would be $55000$81000. This role is based in Seattle and follows a hybrid schedule requiring at least four days per week in the downtown Seattle office. This is a fulltime nonexempt overtime eligible role; overtime eligible after 40 hours of work.
