Salary: $135000 $180000
Level: Senior
P2S has an excellent opportunity for a talented electrical engineer to support mediumvoltage infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience with:
Experience with mediumvoltage 2.4kV35kV) infrastructure design including specification of associated switchgear transformers and other related mediumvoltage equipment. Experience with underground distribution system design shore power design and related calculations. Specification and coordination of protective relaying and SCADA systems for mediumvoltage electrical systems.
Position Requirements
- Degree: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering majoring in Power and Energy Systems
- Registered Professional Engineer license preferred
- Minimum 10 years experience
- Able to work on electrical infrastructure design projects with minimal supervisionand guide design teams
- Experience using AutoCAD ETAP/SKM and Revit
- Prior experience working on port projects. Must be able to access and perform site visits on federal sites.
- Possess strong recordkeeping and organizational skills

Duties:
PreDesign Engineering
- Perform field surveys for the design of electrical systems gather information and prepare site assessment reports
- Prepare electrical schematic designs
Project Management
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple largesize projects involving other senior engineers and subconsultants
- Provide mentorship to design engineers
- Prepare proposals independently for clients
- Demonstrate active development of business with new and existing clients
Construction Administration
- Review and respond to RFIs
- Review equipment submittals
- Perform punch walks and prepare punch list report
