YOUR MISSION

As VP New Business you will report directly to the CEO and be primarily responsible for accelerating new client acquisition across the region (Canada & USA) with a focus on thebeauty health and retailsectors.

  • Define and execute a business development strategy focused on acquiring new clients.
  • Manage the sales cycle for both business areas:
  • Commodity Marketing: Long cycles 9 to 18 months) involving RFP processes and direct engagement with procurement teams.
  • Performance Marketing Retail: Shorter cycles 36 months) targeting marketing and commercial decisionmakers directly.
  • Develop and activate a network of contacts in the retail and eCommerce industry (Walmart Shoppers etc..
  • Identify and respond to market opportunities by leveraging our ESG and technological expertise.
  • Operate independently with the ability to build and scale a team over time.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • 10 years of experiencein business development ideally within a competing agency.
  • Strong experience and network in the retail/eCommerce sector in Canada and the USA.
  • Proven track record in business development with international corporations.
  • Bilingual inEnglish and French would be nice!
  • Strong ability to acquire new clients and navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Experience working with major brands and retail/eRetail marketing.
  • Natural leadership skills and the ability to build and structure a team as the business grows.
