A leading telecom and tech environment is seeking a skilled and forwardthinking Platform Engineer to join their Cloud Security team. If youre passionate about cloud security and want to help shape a worldclass developer platform this is the role for you.
About the assignment
This organization is on an ambitious path working to deliver the best possible cloud and developer experience. They are now strengthening their cloud security capabilities as they integrate private cloud into the developer platform.
Their goal is to make cloud services accessible to all product teams following cloud native principles. The platform is built to support flow and reduce cognitive load through automation and selfservice allowing teams to spin up resources instantly without waiting or red tape.
Transparency is central. With data openly available in the cloud platform teams can make fast informed decisions. This drives speed ownership and motivation leading to the development of excellent products.
The role
Are you an experienced technologist with a strong passion for cloud security and zero trust architecture Theyre looking for a senior engineer to help shape their security strategy and ensure platforms are resilient against current and future threats.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure architecture for cloudbased applications and data
- Stay on top of trends and best practices within cloud security and zero trust
- Collaborate with other tech leaders on strategic direction and goals
- Handson implementation and configuration of security tools and infrastructure
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of cloud native solutions
Requirements:
- Relevant higher education in IT or equivalent experience
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and cloud security
- Deep understanding of zero trust architecture
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to set direction and inspire others
- Excellent communication and crossteam collaboration skills
- Fluent in both Norwegian and English (written and spoken)
- Security clearance required
