About the Role
An Outstanding girls school in Enfield is seeking a committed Food Technology Teacher to join their design and technology department from September. You will deliver highquality food technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology Teacher lessons covering culinary techniques and food preparation.
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
- Develop students understanding of food science nutrition and safety.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the food technology curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead foodrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Food Technology.
- Proven experience in teaching food technology at secondary level.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food science.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
