Job Description

About the Role

An Outstanding girls school in Enfield is seeking a committed Food Technology Teacher to join their design and technology department from September. You will deliver highquality food technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology Teacher lessons covering culinary techniques and food preparation.
  • Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
  • Develop students understanding of food science nutrition and safety.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the food technology curriculum and resources.
  • Organise and lead foodrelated extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Food Technology.
  • Proven experience in teaching food technology at secondary level.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food science.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
