About the Role
A progressive Independent school in Barnet requires a skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join their department starting ASAP for a temporary period. The successful candidate will deliver engaging DT lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology Teacher lessons covering various design and manufacturing processes.
- Prepare students for assessments and projects.
- Develop students design thinking and practical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of DT resources.
- Organize and lead design and technologyrelated activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design and Technology.
- Proven experience teaching DT at secondary level.
- Strong technical and practical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
