Job Description

About the Role

An Outstanding girls school in Enfield is seeking a committed Computer Science Teacher to join their technology department from September. You will deliver high quality computer science lessons to KS3 KS4 and KS5 pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science Teacher lessons covering programming algorithms and data structures.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations.
  • Develop students computational thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the computer science curriculum and resources.
  • Organize and lead computer sciencerelated extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Computer Science.
  • Proven experience in teaching computer science at secondary level.
  • Strong programming skills and knowledge of computer science concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
