About the Role
An Outstanding school in Haringey seeks a dynamic Physics Teacher to join their science department from September. Youll inspire students with a passion for physics across Key Stages 35.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Physics Teacher lessons covering core physics concepts and practical investigations.
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations ensuring strong academic outcomes.
- Develop students understanding of scientific principles and experimental design.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the physics curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead physicsrelated extracurricular activities such as science clubs and STEM projects.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physics.
- Proven experience in teaching physics at secondary level including ALevel.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physics.
- Excellent communication and practical skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
