Job Description

About the Role

An Outstanding school in Haringey seeks a dynamic Physics Teacher to join their science department from September. Youll inspire students with a passion for physics across Key Stages 35.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Physics Teacher lessons covering core physics concepts and practical investigations.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations ensuring strong academic outcomes.
  • Develop students understanding of scientific principles and experimental design.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the physics curriculum and resources.
  • Organise and lead physicsrelated extracurricular activities such as science clubs and STEM projects.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physics.
  • Proven experience in teaching physics at secondary level including ALevel.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physics.
  • Excellent communication and practical skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
