Job Description
At Summerset we are here to bring the best of life to our residents. To do this we know we need to take care of our people to form a team who are strong enough to care operate as one team and strive to do their best.
We are looking for an energetic Caf Supervisor to join our Havelock North village catering team. Ideally you will have experience in caf operations customer service food control plans and ideally have a Barista qualification.
You will be responsible for the daily operation of the onsite caf: provide quality food and drinks and be part of a team providing exciting events for our residents.
Shifts are 9:00am3:30pm but roster can be tailored to cover seven days with Caf assistant
Qualifications :
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and organisation skills as well as the ability to multitask
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Demonstrated high level of selfmotivation and initiative to set and achieve goals
- Ability to demonstrate experience at food preparation and hygiene standards
- Experience in operating a caf is desirable (but not essential)
- Barista Qualification
- Current Food Handlers certificate
- Strong IT skills (Word Excel/Microsoft Office)
- Understanding food safety and have a high level of personal hygiene
