The Visa team in Australia New Zealand and South Pacific (ANZSP) cluster is dedicated to fostering innovation and driving growth within the dynamic payments landscape of this diverse region. As Head of Strategy & Business Transformation you will report directly into the Group Country Manager (GCM) and dual report to the Asia Pacific Head of Strategy. This role will support the GCM in developing organic / inorganic growth strategies for the cluster driving crossfunctional conducting market intel / share assessment supporting collection of customer insights and managing the cluster BPO function (including market BPOs on a dual reporting basis to CMs).
What a VP Head of Strategy & Business Transformation AuNZSP does at Visa:
- Leads strategy development and strategic planning efforts across all portfolio countries / business units
- Ensure strategic imperatives are embedded in all country/account plans initiatives are adequately prioritized and that the right governance model is in place to drive
- Develop frameworks that support the prioritization of strategic initiatives and evaluate investment opportunities for their strategic and financial value
- Identify structure and manage complex issues (such as pricing/IRF interventions noncard rail response plans etc. to arrive at recommendations that drive business priorities and deliver value to the business
- Drive a consistent/disciplined approach to resource prioritization and governance.
- Maintain business landscape knowledge to provide solid foundational context for critical strategic projects.
- Measure and drive efforts to accelerate timetorevenue / revenue conversion as well as drive pipeline management discipline
- Lead development of cluster strategic initiatives across Products & Solutions CMS and VAS in close coordination with functional heads and their leadership teams
- Conduct market intelligence/share analysis and consumer research
- Support Sales/Finance team in deal shaping/structuring as well as distilling underwriting best practices to ensure we drive key priorities (i.e. Affluent/XB VAS CMS etc.
- Coordinate with AP Corporate Strategy team to ensure alignment between regional and global priorities
- Key member of the AuNZSP leadership team taking ownership of the project pipeline team management development and culture.
- Build a highperformance culture through leading and managing a team of Strategy/BPO/Analytics professionals to effectively partner and drive solutions for internal clients.
- Attract develop motivate and retain a team of high performing high potential professionals who are well positioned to become future leaders in the company. Provide continuous coaching and training to the team.

Qualifications :
What you will need:
- 15 to 20 years of experience leading strategy projects at toptier Management Consulting firms or in a Corporate Strategy group in a multinational environment.
- A deep knowledge of payments industry demonstrated through practical experience.
- Proven track record of delivering high impact results working on projects in the areas of corporate strategy growth initiatives and new market/segment/business strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to be a trusted advisor by developing significant longterm trustbased relationships with demanding seniorlevel executives at large complex organizations.
- Strong analytical and strategic acumen.
- Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to manage work in different time zones effectively.
