You will be updated with latest job alerts via email Responsible for project success owning project scope and being responsible for your BI products adoption and delivery of expected business outcomes
Ensure agile product road maps roll outs continuous improvement plan and deployments are defined and constantly updated in sync with the global Business Intelligence strategy
Ensure support structure is in place for your products and become the go to person for traders users community driving adoption and removing roadblocks to effectively embed BI Solutions in business processes
Create strong and trusting relationships not only with your key business partners but also with your IT colleagues achieving success as one team
Own the delivery of projects (including resources needs and financials) to provide new products to support decision making processes and their associated metrics on time budget and outcomes
Responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into detailed function specifications and managing requests for changes
Ensure products deliverables are properly documented and with adequate reference material
Follow up issues and risks and trigger appropriate escalations in case of need
Propose mitigation plan in case of issues and risks assessing different options and providing recommendations
Identify dependencies within parallel running projects in IT portfolio and proactively put in place actions to mitigate related risks
Provide management with accurate and timely status reports of all projects/scope as assigned
Assist business partners in determining how business requirements are integrated into business processes and generate expected outcomes
Work closely with the business owners of your application/solution being the intermediary between them and our external delivery partners to develop or support your BI products
Support business partners in the test phases and organize training sessions as required
Learn all core technologies in the BI IT portfolio and how to build BI reports and analytics applications starting from the data using them proficiently
Qualifications :
5 years of proven experience in a business analyst type of role in IT projects implementation
Proven project management experience within at least 2 complete projects lifecycles
Previous experience in commodities trading domain on middle office or controlling processes will be considered a strong plus (Position Reporting Daily P&L Risk Exposure etc.
Previous experience in KPIs definition and storytelling visual analytics implementation will be considered a strong plus
Previous experience in a client facing role will be considered a plus
IT consulting background and IT handson experiences will be considered a plus
Experience in a multicultural environment
Technical Skills:
Good knowledge of front end and data visualization tools for BI applications implementation (dashboard cockpits analytics reports) with preferably previous experience in one of:
o Microsoft Power BI
o TIBCO Spotfire
o Tableau
Design and developments skills on data structure and data flow for Backend implementation ETL Data warehousing data modeling with preferably previous experience in one of:
o SAP BW / HANA / BODS
o MSSQL or similar technologies
o Microsoft Azure Framework
Business rules coding scripting and BI systems architecture knowledge previous experiences will be considered a plus
Soft Skills:
Agility being able to move easily across different projects and initiatives to prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
Curiosity and eagerness for exploring and understanding complex business processes
Deep critical thinking attitude to be able to manage ambiguity and complexity comfortably
Quick learner on new domains ramp up on knowledge curve easily ability to work independently and with little prompting
Inclination to make improvements find new ideas and challenge the status quo
Excellent in with natural sense of duty and urgency to drive the change
Attention to details and inclination to find new analysis perspectives
Strong business analysis skills (understanding of functional business processes in solution design and configuration experience identification of value drivers and expected business outcomes)
Excellent Project management skills (scope and quality management resource management budget management issue management stakeholder management)
Strong analysis synthesis and communication capacity (written and oral) ability to negotiate and influence both internally and externally
Customer service oriented approach focused on your business partner understanding and on business value added
