Job Description
We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer for a team of motivated enthusiastic and committed colleagues who always take the time to look at complex issues from all sides who together master the challenges of daytoday business and who make the job of running the bank in Avaloq a success.
On our way to the cloud we are providing an everincreasing range of microservices to best combine availability and scalability.
Your key tasks
- Declaration of infrastructure components in Terraform for Oracle OCI AWS MS Azure and the private cloud of our service provider.
- Use of current technologies and tools for continuous improvement and automation of system operation.
- Setup operation (including security patching) monitoring and maintenance of the systems for the realization of the offered services on different infrastructure platforms.
- Assumption of tasks within the ITSM lifecycle especially in performance service change asset incidents and problems management.
- Participation in oncall duties.
Qualifications :
- Computer science degree or successfully completed training in the IT field or comparable professional experience.
- Good Linux knowledge on both traditional infrastructure and Cloud one.
- Basic understanding of network protocols and architectures (TCP/IP MPLS peering hub & spoke).
- Practical experience with at least one cloud provider (Oracle is preferred).
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible Terraform git).
- Strong experience with CI/CD.
- Basic knowledge of software development.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills and strong customer focus.
- Fun and enthusiasm.
- Very good English skills.
It would be a real bonus if you have:
- Interest for the banking business.
- Linux proven certification.
- Team Leading experience.
- Oracle DB installation and managing experience on OS point of view.
