Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Morristown TN. This role is essential in leading process improvement initiatives managing new product launches and supporting continuous development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills technical proficiency in manufacturing systems and a proactive mindset toward problem-solving and innovation. As a Process Engineer you will work closely with manufacturing quality and R&D teams to ensure efficient and safe operations while upholding the highest standards in product quality.
Duties

Manage and support new product launches and continuous improvement projects.

Monitor and analyze key process metrics such as cycle time scrap rates and efficiency.

Conduct root cause analysis and use tools like flowcharts and fishbone diagrams for troubleshooting.

Plan and implement R&D proposals including cost scope and resource planning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality control and product development initiatives.

Interpret part drawings and utilize statistical quality control procedures.

Maintain accurate documentation and data entry for process evaluations and performance tracking.

Ensure safety compliance and environmental regulation adherence during all plant operations.
Skills

Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and continuous improvement practices.

Proficiency in CNC programming PLC terminology and AutoCAD.

Familiarity with FMEA hydraulic/pneumatic systems and tolerance measurements.

Ability to facilitate meetings lead small teams and conduct technical training.

Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills for data analysis and reporting.

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
