Job Description
Our esteemed client an established MNC is searching for a Outsource Infrastructure Engineer:
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute infrastructure operations based on design specifications
- Coordinate system installations and align with agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
- Lead infrastructure project planning and support implementation of infrastructure changes
- Contribute to infrastructure upgrade and replacement strategies
- Conduct system tuning and software/hardware optimization
- Manage infrastructure testing and deployment activities
- Gather usage statistics and performance data for capacity planning and reporting
- Pilot new tools platforms or processes to improve system performance
- Perform root cause analysis and develop practical solutions
- Simulate user-reported issues to identify underlying causes
- Provide timely updates and resolutions for infrastructure-related incidents
- Guide team members in resolving infrastructure problems
- Implement temporary workarounds and long-term solutions
- Define and monitor service-level objectives (SLOs) and targets
- Collect client feedback and service data to evaluate performance
- Recommend continuous service improvements and customer satisfaction enhancements
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related discipline
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in deploying and managing servers storage and backup systems in both Windows and Linux environments
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft Server SQL Server and Reporting Services Virtualization platforms (VMware Microsoft Hyper-V) Active Directory (AD) Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and general system troubleshooting Microsoft 365 administration and email systems End-User Computing (EUC) support and troubleshooting Network infrastructure perimeter security and WAN connectivity Cybersecurity practices such as vulnerability detection and system patching
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptable self-driven and solution-oriented
- Committed team player with a service-oriented mindset
- Excellent problem-solving ability and customer service professionalism
- Willing to be on standby and rotate on-call duties including weekends and public holidays
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 6000
- Working Location: East
- Working Hours: 5 Days Work Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm
- 12 Months Contract
