A Patient Services Representative (PSR) is a professional articulate and empathetic clerical specialist responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while scheduling registering or checking in patients. Attention to detail ability to multitask and excellent attendance are vital. The PSR is deployed throughout Trinity Health outpatient areas as needed and duties may vary between locations. Schedule to include weekend and holiday rotation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Educational Requirements
HS Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience Requirements
Customer service experience or training required. Preferably six 6 mos minimum.
Experience in a clerical or office setting preferred
Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
Computer experience required. Preferably Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel Word etc..
Experience with computer appointment software preferred.
Special Skills or Training Requirements
Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the telephone
Ability to demonstrate good judgement in handling incoming calls and in person patients efficiently and appropriately.
Exceptional interpersonal customer service problemsolving verbal and written communication and conflict resolution.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment; working efficiently and multitasking
