About this opportunity:
Reporting to the Senior Manager Power & Offsets the Power Analyst will partner with Upstream and Downstream Operations and act as a single point of contact for all new distribution level power service requests. This role will respond to ad hoc information requests including providing technical support contract negotiation and optimization recommendations.
What youll do:
Process all new distribution level power service requests site upgrades salvages and dispositions
Enhance the Cenovus power retail business through invoice review and submission for approval improved processes and reporting
Create and distribute monthly cost and consumption reports
Conduct site management information exchanges with an external Electricity Retail provider through a Web portal application
Support and improve existing Power BI data models and develop new analysis as required
Build and maintain good relationships with external service providers such as Fortis ATCO and SaskPower
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
Legally authorized to work in Canada
5 years of related work experience in the Power or Oil and Gas industry
Postsecondary degree in Engineering Finance Business or Accounting
An accounting designation (CPA CA) is considered an asset
Strong analytical and digital literacy (Excel PowerBI DAX SalesForce)
