Job Description
Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
Provides direct patient care to adolescent adult and geriatric populations with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability independence participation and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.
0.8 FTE position rotating through different areas of inpatient care including general med/surg cardiac ortho neuro oncology and ICU. Interest or experience in acute care management of vertigo or lymphedema welcomed. Optional rotations also available in one or more of the following specialty areas: outpatient neuro wound care and/or outpatient ortho if interested. Schedule consists of four 8 hr days per week. Every 4th weekend and one holiday per year. Previous experience in acute care setting strongly preferred.
Work Schedule:
.80 FTE four 8 hour shifts & every 4th weekend 1 holiday per year
Required Qualifications:
- Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Doctorate masters or bachelors degree in physical therapy
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting.
- Recommend membership in related professional organization.
- Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
- Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise.
- Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
