Were supporting a fantastic and leading firm of charteredaccountants based in Tunbridge Wells in their recruitment for an Audit andAccounts Senior. Our client boasts an incredible working environment with avery experienced and friendly team. You will be exposed to a wide range of businesses from largecorporates through to notforprofit organisations and you will have lots ofresponsibility but also offered an excellent work life balance too.
This is a mixed audit and accounts opportunity and the splitbetween both audit and accounts can be moulded around the individual. I.e. between2550 audit
You will work together with the wider team in a handsonposition leading in a methodical manner in order to meet the needs of theclients and complete the audit fully before manager and partner review. Youshould be able to delegate out required tasks to the team comfortably and offersupport and guidance where necessary resolving technical questions that mayarise.
- Work closely with audit managers to supportengagements from planning to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Preparation of statutory accounts as well asreviewing accounts prepared by junior staff.
- Preparation of corporation tax computations(training can be provided if needed).
- Work closely with clients to build trustedrelationships being the goto for support.
- Deliver a strong commercial awareness reviewingopportunities for fee development.
- Underpin audit and accounts matters with currentlegislation and compliance.
- Champion your own professional developmentundertaking training opportunities.
- Support junior team members by knowledge sharingand supporting their.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA fully qualified
- 3 years of practical accounts/ audit experience
- Be an approachable and hands on leader
- Competent planning and completion skills
- Be up to date with technical knowledge includingany recent changes
- Computer literate good excel word andaccounting software experience
