What youll be doing
As the Senior Records Analyst you will be reporting to the Director Business Effectiveness and will be responsible for overseeing the records management program ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and implementing best practices for the retention retrieval and disposal of records across Personal and Business Banking and assigned LOBs. In this role you will be accountable to effectively manage risk across LOBs as well as provide support on various initiatives involving records.

How youll succeed
Records Lifecycle Management Assist in overseeing the lifecycle of Records from identification to disposition ensuring proper classification retention and secure disposal of records.Assist in collaborating with Legal Compliance and frontline on the update of the Banks record retention schedules.
Governance and Compliance Monitor adherence to records management standards and best practices across the organization.Develop implement and maintain records management procedures to ensure compliance with enterprise policies.
Risk Management Conduct regular audits of records management practices to ensure adherence to policies. Identify potential risks related to records management and assist in the development of strategies to mitigate these risks. Work with the business areas to assess records management risks associated.
Reporting and Documentation Prepare status reports on records management testing activities compliance status and audit findings for management review.
Client Engagement Work with our LOBs to help them comply with records management policies through training remediation guidance where compliance gaps exist.
Relationship Building Develop relationships with partners to ensure that records management considerations are integrated into these broader risk management frameworks.
Leveraging Technology Invest time in becoming proficient in CIBCs approved records management repositories (e.g. SharePoint Online with Records Management) to provide informed guidance to internal partners. Where appropriate create userfriendly resources such as FAQs and howto guides that help teams navigate and utilize these systems effectively.
