Primary Responsibilities
As part of the Dining Services team the Food Service Generalist works under the supervision of Leader Assistant Mangers and Mangers and it responsible for preparing food items according to documented recipes in the area assigned and continues to monitor food quality throughout the meal periods. Contributes to the total function of the dining service operation in a positive manner. The position is fulltime seasonal working 9 months from August through June and in connection with the academic year. Primary shifts are evenings weekends and some holidays. Schedule to be determined at time of hire.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma (or equivalent) required. Prior experience is preferred. Ability to operate cash register standard cooking and dish washing equipment and other mechanical devices located in a food service operation.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior food service experience is preferred.
