Job Description

GraduateMid Level Speech Pathologist

Location: Victoria
Industry: Speech Therapy (Healthcare & Medical)
Position: FullTime (with flexible hours)
Salary: Available upon enquiry.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Graduate to MidLevel Speech Pathologist to join our clients team. This role includes conducting patient assessments developing individual treatment plans and collaborating with families educators and other healthcare professionals. You will administer therapy monitor patient progress and ensure that patients and their families are informed about new treatments and techniques. Flexibility in hours is available including opportunities to work during weekends or public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess diagnose and prevent language speech and swallowing disorders.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and liaise with family members physicians and educators to design effective treatment plans.
  • Utilize established therapies alongside innovative techniques to deliver the best care.
  • Stay current with advancements in the field by attending conferences conducting research and building professional networks.
  • Educate patients and families on speech disorders and available therapies.
  • Maintain detailed records of patient history and progress.
  • Provide mentorship and workshops to speech therapy students.
  • Evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy programs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech Therapy or SpeechLanguage Pathology.
  • Relevant license and certification from Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • Experience with specific disorders and age groups may be required.
  • Strong understanding of speechrelated disorders and treatments.
  • Familiarity with database management software.
  • Excellent relationshipbuilding and communication skills.
  • Resourceful with strong problemsolving abilities.
  • Willingness to conduct research and travel for professional development.
