JOB SUMMARY
In this position you will be working within the YCA Projects Group as part of the Proposals Team. As a Proposals Technical Specialist you will be responsible for the detailed review of complex RFQ packages and the identification of Yokogawa Products that meet each customers requirements. This role will specialize in Pressure and Temperature Measurement Instrumentation and will serve as a main technical resource for the Projects Group members from early FEED Stage quoting through project and delivery.
DUTIES/RESULTS
- Review complete RFQ packages to validate Yokogawa product feasibility alignment and compliance
- Generate detailed Bill of Materials for full project scope
- Keep detailed records of technical revisions and scope changes throughout the proposal process
- Provides application and product selection support to Projects Group and our customers
- Work with Projects Estimator to deliver comprehensive and accurate quotes on time to Project Customers
- Develop and maintain expertise in pressure and temperature industrial measurement devices including their applications specifications and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the proposal team ensuring accurate and competitive product quotes.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations for pressure and temperature measurement devices ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct product presentations and meetings with customers highlighting the features and benefits of the proposed solutions
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of appropriate measurement devices for customer specific applications considering factors such as accuracy reliability lead times and costeffectiveness.
- Participate in project meetings and discussions to provide technical input and support for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Maintain accurate records of all proposals quotations and customer interactions ensuring timely followup and communication.
- Support the development of training materials and programs for internal teams and customers on pressure and temperature measurement devices.
Education: BS in Engineering or other applicable field
Prior Experience: 5 years experience in industrial measurement instrumentation an engineering role or proposal type role with experience in reviewing RFQ/RFQ packages to determine scope and technical specifications. InDepth understanding of Pressure & Temperature measurement instrumentation.
