Job Description
Position Overview
Power your future with Qualus as a Transmission Line Engineer designing transmission structures and power lines for high voltage applications.
Responsibilities
- Design transmission structures and power lines for high voltage applications.
- Prepare and review technical specifications and drawings.
- Conduct engineering analysis and simulations for transmission line design.
- Mentor and train lowerlevel engineers and team members.
- Perform independent reviews of work performed by others including calculations drawings specification and transmission line PLSCADD models.
- Provide support to the project team during construction and installation.
- Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes standards and regulations.
- Perform field work as required to support design construction and commissioning activities.
- Interface with clients contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as required.

Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Civil Mechanical Electrical).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transmission line design for high voltage applications. (Hiring for all position levels depending upon experience)
- PE License required.
- Strong knowledge of structural design and analysis principles and tools.
- Strong working knowledge of foundation design and analysis.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as PLSCADD PLSPOLE FAD Tools and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as NESC ASCE ACI RUS IEC and IEEE.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong desire to mentor train and lead next generation of engineers.
