Our private client in the Construction industry is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team.
About the role:
This role will be reporting into the Director of Finance.
- Bank & GL reconciliation (including Moneris Amex and fees).
- Journal entries (transfers payroll benefits loans and bank fees).
- Accruals intercompany reconciliation and monthend processing.
- Credit deductions adjustments and cash receipts.
- Daily Moneris investigation (EFT differences and chargebacks).
- Adhoc tasks as needed.
About you:
- 2 years ofaccounting Experience
- Completion of PostSecondary Degree/Diploma in Business Finance or Accounting
- Experience with MS Excel is a strong Asset
- Must have experience working with accounting software
- Must be able to work in the office
