Equipment Coordinator Duties and responsibilities:
- Check in used and new trucks upon arrival at assigned dealer location
- Informs truck manager of arrival.
- Performs initial visual inspection for damage and other trade / purchase deficiencies.
- Works with truck Manager to determine next steps; e.g. send to shop outside vendors etc. * Schedules work to be done with in house repair shop or outside vendors e.g.: Detail shops Glass cos. Tire shops etc.
- Shuttle trucks to and from sales lot to and from vendors.
- Takes pictures for SOARR Truck Paper and other marketing collateral.
- Accurately tracks equipment from initial receipt thru sale. Informs truck Manager of delays or help needed.
- Keeps for sale equipment clean properly displayed on the lot and ready to sell.
- Perform minor repairs to trucks; e.g. Change batteries install mud flaps change license plates Misc. mechanical duties etc.
- All tools to accomplish the above duties will be provided at no cost to the employee.
- Performs lot duties; e.g. occasional snow plowing snow blowing starting trucks in the winter / summer fueling trucks etc.
- Provides lot support for the new and used truck sales team upon request of sales personal or management.
Equipment Coordinator Qualifications:
- Maintain CDL in good standing. No exceptions
Basic Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook experience preferred. - Equipment Coordinator/ Lot Attendant Working conditions:
- Must be able to perform job duties outside the office in all normal weather conditions e.g.: Snow Wind Rain hot or cold.
- All uniforms Shoes or safety items will be supplied at no cost to the employee
- Target core work hours are MondayFriday 8 am 5 pm with occasional before 8 and after 5 hours upon request from management or sales.
- Maintain a good working relationship with Parts Service and Sales representatives.
Equipment Coordinator Physical requirements:
- Ability to visually inspect trucks; e.g. climb in/out of trucks open hoods without assistance fill with fuel check fluids and perform minor mechanical repairs.
- Able to perform general lot duties; e.g. Snow plowing snow blowing starting trucks in the winter etc.
- Position requires spending most of the day on your feet.
- Ability to lift up to 70 #s
