Job Description
A highprofile litigation team is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2 years of experience to join its California office with San Diego as the preferred location. This role requires a wellrounded complex litigation skill set including legal research brief writing document production and discovery. The firm values proactive team players who will contribute to practice growth by writing articles attending speaking engagements and participating in client development activities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft briefs.
- Oversee document production and discovery processes.
- Support litigation efforts through trial and appellate stages.
- Contribute to business development through articles speaking engagements and networking.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain professionalism in client interactions.
Qualifications:
- JD or LLM from an ABAaccredited law school.
- Admission to or eligibility for admission in California.
- 2 years of complex litigation experience.
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and manage competing responsibilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Additional Details:
- Salary range: $235000 to $260000 bonus eligible.
